About This Product

■Developed in accordance with IEC standard IEC60034-30 in response to the increasing efficiency of motors that are being developed worldwide.

・TMEIC was one of the first to develop the IE3 series and has made it into a series. It can be provided overseas where it has already been legalized. ・New high efficiency IE3 series (IEC 60034-30 compliant) Advantages of TM21-FII IE3 series

■Frame number configuration

For 132kW or less (JEM frame number regulation range), the IE3 series has the same frame number as the standard efficiency series and JIS C4212 series. Therefore, no special consideration (*8) is required for installation even when replacing high-efficiency equipment. Additionally, the IE3 series has the same frame number as the current high-efficiency JIS C4212 series (up to 160kW). (*8) Since existing machines may have special dimensions, please be sure to check the drawings when replacing existing machines.

■2 rating compatible

Considering the domestic power supply situation, 400/440V 50/60Hz 2 ratings are standard for products below 200kW.

■Compliant with IEC international standards

The TM21-FII IE3 series is based on IEC international standards. Starting current, torque characteristics, etc. (*9) comply with IEC standards. (*9) When requesting Y-△ starting, please check the resistance torque of the load to prevent starting congestion. Depending on the reaction torque specifications, Y-△ starting may not be possible.

■Realization of low noise

The TM21-FII IE3 series achieves low noise as standard. Example: Achieves 78dB (A) (*10) at 200kW 2P 60Hz. (*10) This is the value when the motor alone is not loaded and is measured according to JEC 2137-2000-Amd.1. Please refer to the standard characteristic data for noise values.

■Efficiency improvement to IE3 series

Motor losses are divided into primary copper loss, secondary copper loss, iron loss, mechanical loss, and stray loss, and the key is how to reduce these losses. In order to achieve high efficiency, the TM21-FII IE3 series incorporates the technology cultivated by TMEIC throughout.
