■The highest level of current products and clears Top Runner standards.

The Top Runner System started in April 2015, requiring motors to be made more efficient. The target standard value for efficiency is the highest value currently commercialized, which is equivalent to "IE3". TMEIC has launched a new lineup of "Premium Efficiency Series" that meets this standard. Compared to our standard motor, the generated loss has been reduced by approximately 34%, increasing the energy saving effect. Overview/Features

■Top Runner Motor Started in April 2015

In Japan, the Top Runner System began in April 2015, requiring motors to be made more efficient. The target standard value for motor efficiency is set at the highest efficiency value currently commercialized (equivalent to IE3), increasing the energy consumption efficiency of motors and promoting the spread of energy-saving motors that meet the standards.

■Premium efficiency series pursuing energy and resource conservation

TMEIC has developed a next-generation high-efficiency motor that is resource-friendly and environmentally friendly, by making full use of advanced analysis technology and the latest high-efficiency technology. We have newly added the Premium Efficiency Series, which meets Top Runner standards with excellent energy-saving performance, to our lineup.

The Premium Efficiency Series reduces the generated loss by approximately 34% compared to our standard motors, contributing to improving the energy-saving effects of customer equipment.

■What is the Top Runner System?

This method uses the value of the most energy-efficient product currently available on the market as a base, and then adds the degree of technological progress expected in the future as the amount of efficiency improvement to create a standard value. Energy achievement standards are established each fiscal year, and motor manufacturers or importers are required to achieve the Top Runner standards.
