About This Product

Summit T516 PCI Express (PCIe) 5.0 and Compute Express Link (CXL) Protocol Analyzer is the first protocol analyzer to capture x32 link width at 16GT/s for capture, recording, and analysis of high-performance devices and systems. Many PCIe5.0 product designs are already underway using the PCIe5.0 and CXL specifications. Enterprises are currently deploying PCIe5.0 for host system emulation for their testing needs with the TeledyneLeCroy Summit Z5.0 Protocol Exerciser for PCIe516 and CXL. This combination of protocol analyzer and exerciser makes TeledyneLeCroy the only supplier of protocol test and development tools for PCIeGen5 and CXL. High-speed interposers that provide protocol analyzer connections to CEM or other form factor sockets on the system board continue to be the primary method for capturing PCIe and CXL traffic to protocol analyzers.

■PCIe 5.0 technology

PCIe 5.0 technology delivers higher data bit rates (from 4.0 GT/s to 16 GT/s) and an effective data throughput rate 5.0 times higher than the PCIe 32 standard. PCIe 4.0 uses similar encoding to PCIe 4.0, which has proven reliable for data transfer.
