■Summary

By merging "hydraulic technology" and "inverter technology," we have achieved even more advanced high-precision temperature control and ultra-energy savings. In addition, by creating a menu of general-purpose individual specifications, we have also made it possible to respond to short delivery times.

■Why an oil conditioner is necessary

The spindle head (headstock) of horizontal machining centers and vertical machining centers generates a lot of heat in the bearings and gears due to the high speed rotation of the spindle, and in the case of built-in motors, heat is generated in the motor section. The heat generated warms the entire spindle head, causing the spindle center to shift from the center of the column or head, causing thermal deformation. Thermal deformation affects machining accuracy and is said to account for 40 to 70% of machining errors. Thermal deformation occurs because different parts of the machine elongate at different temperatures, and by removing heat from the spindle head with an oil conditioner, the misalignment of the shaft center can be corrected. Oil conditioners help improve machine precision by lubricating the spindle head gear and removing heat.

Cooling capacity can be maintained by replacing and cleaning the filter. (*When mist concentration is 0.5mg/m3)

■Add alarm margin to communication content

By attaching the communication option board to the oil conditioner control board and communicating with the machine, you can change the operating mode and settings from the machine. Oil conditioner alarm codes, temperature data, etc. can be read on the machine side. In the 10 series, a new function has been added to quantify and communicate the margin until an alarm occurs. On the machine side, it is now possible to use the data to determine when it is time for maintenance.
