■Wiring without net

In high-density, high-layer, high-pin count designs, by using "netless wiring," design intentions can be reflected flexibly and efficiently.

■Coil wiring wizard

The wizard function instantly automatically generates regular coil wiring, which is essential for designing small boards and high-frequency boards.

■Cooperation with transmission path analysis

By outputting a DSN file, smooth cooperation with various simulators (DEMITAS NX, SIGNAL ADVISER, etc.) is possible.

■Panelization (imposition)

It is now possible not only to mount multiple boards of the same type, but also to mount multiple boards of different types.

■Mesh solid

It is now possible to create mesh-like solid shapes, and it is now possible to easily comply with UL standards and transparent substrates.

■Corner wiring

Square wiring, which is often used in high frequency design, is now possible. The end cap is square, and the wiring angle can be set at right angles or can be changed as desired.

■DFM manufacturing check (MRC)

By checking manufacturability when designing a PCB, you can eliminate unnecessary rework during board manufacturing. Quadcept is constantly improving the DFM Manufacturing Check (MRC) function, which is not included in inexpensive CAD.

■Online DRC

You can check DRC settings in real time during PCB design. Wiring work can be done taking into account various design rules such as clearance, eliminating unnecessary work back-and-forth and improving quality.

■Semi-automatic/pressing/tracing wiring

To support high-speed wiring, differential pair wiring and wiring length control can be easily performed using DRC design rules. In addition, we also support push wiring, tracing wiring, which reduces the number of clicks to the bare minimum, and semi-automatic wiring, which automatically searches for the shortest route.

■Design rule area

Separate DRC settings can be added for areas that cannot be set with normal DRC, such as around BGAs in high-density designs, where visual checks previously took time. It is possible to directly reflect special settings such as wiring width, clearance, and via shape.

■ODB++ output

Now supports the ODB++ format, an integrated database for reliably transmitting information from the printed circuit board design process to the manufacturing/component mounting process. It can be used as global inter-company communication data.
