A multi-mode microplate reader designed for ease of use with personalized workflows and a large touch screen. It is a convenient and easy-to-use model that allows measurements with a large touch panel that can be used without a PC, and personal protocol management using NFC (near field communication).

■Hybrid optical system (iD5)
A sophisticated hybrid optical system of monochromator and filter detects the signal in the optimal way.
■Reduction of background noise
The optical system is equipped with a xenon flash lamp and a super-cooled photomultiplier tube (PMT) detector with low background, achieving high sensitivity and a wide dynamic range.
■Easy touch panel operation
The intuitive touchscreen software simplifies complex processes by making it easy to start measurements with the Quick Read icon.
■Personalize your workflow
Built-in Near Field Communication (NFC) functionality provides one-tap access to custom protocols and results.
■Automatic identification of filters
By using NFC tags, iD5 automatically detects the filter slide as well as the wavelength characteristics of each filter.
■Easily capture flash assays
The SpectraMax injector system with SmartInject™ technology features a low dead volume of 10 μL and overflow protection.
■No need to collect data from the device
With the QuickSync function, measurement data is automatically sent to your computer and can be accessed from anywhere on the network.
■Flexible temperature control
Easy-to-use temperature control allows you to adjust experimental conditions from ambient to 66°C, expanding the range of assays you can perform.
■Security enhancement
SoftMax® Touch software protects user accounts with PIN or NFC.
