About This Product

This is a melting point measuring device that does not require silicone oil.

■Features

・Because it uses a metal heating block method, it can measure higher melting points than melting point measuring instruments that use silicone oil as a heating medium. (Maximum 400℃) ・Also, there is no need to change the troublesome silicone oil. ・Since it uses a metal heating block method, both sound rise time and cooling time are significantly shortened. ・The melting point can be measured for 3 samples (different types of substances are possible) and the boiling point can be measured for 2 samples (different types of substances can be used) at the same time. ・Since the temperature control method is a PID method, it boasts high sound rise rate accuracy. ・In visual measurement, one specimen can be marked three times. (Changes in the sample due to heating can be visually confirmed) ・Using a large magnifying glass, it is easy to observe the melting process. It is also suitable for observing changes in the form of substances. - Visual measurement and automatic measurement using the JIS light transmission method are possible (Model B-545). ・Calculates the average value and deviation value of measurement results for up to 3 samples (Type B-545). ・Two measurement methods can be selected for automatic melting point measurement (B-545 type): pharmacopia method and thermodynamic method. ・Automatic melting point measurement (Model B-545) allows transmittance measurement at only one point and transmittance measurement at two points.
