About This Product

■What is a tangless insert?- By using a special tool, it can be inserted and removed without a tang.
- No damage will be caused to the female thread or this product when removing it.
・There is no need to break off the tongue, search for the broken tongue, or check the gauge.
・If you use a special power tool, you can insert and remove it with a single button.

How to use tangless inserts
■Electric insertion method・Loosen the housing and lock nut, and install the insert until the notch engages with the nail. Then, leave a gap of about 1 wire diameter between the guard and insert and set the housing and lock nut.
- Hold the tool perpendicular to the base material and rotate the tool by squeezing the switch lever.
・Attach the coil to the tip of the tool. Rotate the tool while pressing the switch lever of KFS-12, and attach the insert electrically while applying the coil to the tip of the tool.
・When the guard comes into contact with the base material, the power tool will automatically reverse. Keep pushing the lever and rotate the tool to pull it out.
・Hold the tool perpendicular to the base material, and when the tip of the tool touches the base material, squeeze the switch lever to rotate the tool.
・The insert caught in the tool claw will be pulled up while rotating. Rotate the insert while pressing the red lever (release) on the tool.
・When the guard part comes into contact with the base material, the power tool will automatically reverse. While holding down the lever, rotate the tool and pull out only the tool.

■Electric extraction method- Hold the tool perpendicular to the base material and rotate the tool by squeezing the switch lever.
・Attach the coil to the tip of the tool. Rotate the tool while pressing the switch lever of KFS-12, and attach the insert electrically while applying the coil to the tip of the tool.
・When the guard comes into contact with the base material, the power tool will automatically reverse. Keep pushing the lever and rotate the tool to pull it out.
・Hold the tool perpendicular to the base material, and when the tip of the tool touches the base material, squeeze the switch lever to rotate the tool.
・The insert caught in the tool claw will be pulled up while rotating.

・For electric insertion, a special power tool, a special power supply, an insertion tool, and an extraction tool are required.
