About This Product

Can be used with both linear and magnetic rings (rotating). Non-contact and high-speed measurement.

・Absolute measurement in an ultra-compact case ・Absolute resolution of 21 to 24 bits ・16-bit incremental resolution ・The sensor head has a built-in circuit. ・No wear and tear due to non-contact measurement ・Protection grade IP67 resistant to dust, oil, water, etc. - Compatible with various ring diameters and magnetic tape lengths ・For automatic control and industrial machinery applications ・For life science and high-tech industries The absolute magnetic sensor head AKS17 is ideal for linear and rotational measurement applications. The newly developed absolute measurement head AKS17 provides an inexpensive absolute measurement system in combination with a magnetic ring and magnetic scale. The AKS17 can measure up to 2,350 mm directly, and the rotating magnetic ring can measure the outer diameter surface and end surface, and there are three outer diameter sizes. The sensor head has BiSS-C and SSI available for output signals. At the same time, it outputs an incremental signal. This hollow shaft type absolute encoder with a resolution of 21 to 24 bits is more effective when attached to the shaft end than a general shaft type encoder. The external dimensions of the sensor head are very compact, measuring 28 mm long x 16 mm wide x 6.6 mm high.
