About This Product

■Measurement principle and featuresThe screw meter "OMG" is a spiral gear type positive displacement flowmeter. Also called helical gear meter. The movement of the spindle rotating due to the flow of fluid is detected by a pickup sensor and output as a pulse signal. The precision-machined spindle is virtually unaffected by changes in viscosity due to changes in fluid temperature, allowing highly accurate measurements over a wide range. Can be used up to 200℃ (liquid temperature) in combination with a high temperature sensor.

Compared to conventional gear meters, pressure loss is significantly lower and highly accurate measurements are possible. Generally speaking, screw types are thought to be used only for high viscosity fluids, but since the flow rate is calibrated at 5mm2/s (Exxon D120), they can be used for low viscosity fluids such as fuel systems such as gasoline and diesel oil, as well as grease. High-precision flow measurement can be performed in a wide range of fields and applications, including performance testing of high-viscosity liquids such as liquids, sealers, and adhesives, as well as quantitative injection and coating.
