About This Product

■Summary

This is a sintered type synthetic flux that exhibits highly efficient desulfurization and deoxidation ability, applying the steel additive manufacturing technology that we have cultivated over many years. It is effective in cleaning molten steel, such as desulfurization and deoxidation, and is compatible with various refining methods, as well as maintaining highly efficient desulfurization and deoxidation capabilities.

■Features

Denka Synthetic Flux has very low impurities and suppresses the absorption of moisture and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, making it excellent in storage stability and suitable as a refining agent for high-grade steel. In addition, it has a low melting temperature, excellent slagability, and fluidity, so it can be refined in a short time.

■Applications

Refining for the purpose of removing S and O (oxide inclusions) such as ladle injection, ladle gas bubbling, vacuum degassing (RH), and electroslag remelting (ESR) in the secondary refining process of high-grade steels. Suitable as an agent.
