High-performance POSIX-compliant real-time OS designed for critical multicore
■High performance and FFI (Freedom From Interference)
eMCOS® POSIX employs an independent, distributed, and lightweight microkernel to increase reliability and enable real-time parallel processing with efficient performance on multi-core and many-core hardware. The open POSIX standard provides additional flexibility through extensive reuse of source code. For hard real-time support, load-balanced soft real-time support, and maximum free-interference (FFI) performance, eMCOS POSIX is the best choice.
■Hardware and software scalability
eMCOS POSIX is flexible and future-proof to support a variety of processors, from simple single-core embedded MCUs to many-core SoCs with up to 256 cores, and even multi-chip configuration hardware. While eMCOS POSIX is an extended profile based on eMCOS, eMCOS Hypervisor® is an extended version of eMCOS POSIX. Development is quick and easy using the same core technology and IDE. AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform libraries are easy to deploy and eMCOS Hypervisor can virtualize mixed-critical systems.
■High robustness and safety
After 10 years of development and experience gained from numerous demanding customer projects leveraging AUTOSAR, ROS/Autoware and other middleware, eMCOS POSIX has been honed to the highest standards as a platform for functional safety applications. I am. eMCOS provides highly secure process isolation based on hardware memory management units (MMUs). It also provides the highest level of functional safety in compliance with ISO 26262 ASIL-D, the strictest automotive safety evaluation standard.
