About This Product

PRODRY is a test device that can measure the drying speed of the AATCC test method 201 (heating plate method).

This device can measure the drying speed of the textile sample after the sample is exposed to water. The sample is placed on the heating plate maintained at 37 degrees, the same temperature when human skin starts to sweat.

Add water to the heated plate under the test piece to simulate sweat. When the sample gets wet, the temperature decreases, the dry temperature gradually rises, and the temperature rises until it dries.

When the temperature is recorded every second and the test is completed, these points can be added to the graph. Testwise records this temperature change and automatically calculates the drying time and drying speed in the test piece.

The quick drying of the fabric is an important feature when the skin is easily sweaty during sports activities. Without this feature, sweat may not easily evaporate from your clothes and may cause discomfort to the wearer. To confirm that quick -drying fabrics are functioning effectively, Prodry reproduces the actual usage conditions.

This method is used in major sports and outdoor brands in the development of quick -drying fabrics and clothing.

Water injection automatic mode
A water pump that automatically injects water is also built. In manual mode, water is manually injected into the hot plate.

Constant airflow
The arrangement of multiple fans, air filters, and airflow sensors measures integrated airflow sensors and generates consistent airflow.

The fan box generates a certain 1.5m/s airflow on the entire test plate and is verified by the airflow sensor.

Adjustable temperature sensor
The adjustable temperature sensor complies with the AATCC standard, regardless of the thickness of the test fabric. A setting gauge is prepared for a quick setup.

Options to increase data points
The internal test reveals that increasing the number of data points used to calculate the test end time will improve the accuracy and consistency of the results. Once the test is completed, you can add additional data points to the graph.
