About This Product
A rubber sponge sheet is a sheet made by kneading a foaming material into the raw material rubber. Rubber sponge has two types: closed cells, which have independent cells, and semi-open cells, which have semi-open cells. Also, like rubber sheets, there are various materials and hardnesses, so you can choose according to your application.
Rubber sponges usually use sulfur to cross-link the rubber, but some EPDM rubber sponges are cross-linked with peroxide, and we also handle foams with low sulfur content. Low sulfur content = less likely to corrode metals (copper, iron, aluminum, etc.).
Display standard settings
■Sulfur-free
If no sulfur-containing substances are used and no sulfur-containing substances are detected by measurement.
■Ultra low sulfur
Same as sulfur-free, no sulfur-containing substances are used, but black carbon is used although it was not detected in the measurement. Or if the measurement result is less than 0.02% (200ppm).
■Low sulfur
If the measurement result is 0.02% (200ppm) or more but less than 0.3% (3,000ppm) without using sulfur powder.
