About This Product

Features of resin (ball) bearing C series

■Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) resin

PEEK resin has excellent self-lubricating properties, impact resistance, chemical resistance, fatigue resistance, heat resistance, abrasion resistance, steam resistance, radiation resistance, flame retardance, non-magnetic properties, and electrical insulation properties, and has excellent properties up to approximately 340℃. It is a super engineering plastic with a melting point of approximately 150℃ and a glass transition temperature (Tg) of approximately 150℃. The deflection temperature under load of non-reinforced grade is 1.82MPa = 155℃, 0.45MPa = 205℃

■Fluororesin ETFE

The cage material can be set to PEEK, ETFE, or PPS. The deflection temperature under load of ETFE resin non-reinforced grade is 1.81MPa=63℃, 0.45MPa=92℃

■Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) resin

It has excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance, fatigue resistance, and dimensional stability. The deflection temperature under load of PPS glass fiber 20% reinforced type is 1.8MPa = 240℃, 0.45MPa = 260℃

■High quality/high precision

Resin bearing with the highest dimensional accuracy. The bearings are manufactured with a dimensional accuracy of ±0.01mm for the inner and outer diameters, and an internal clearance that takes into account expansion and contraction of the resin due to temperature changes, and dimensional changes due to fitting with the shaft and housing. As a resin bearing, you can expect a long life.

■Light torque rotation/light weight

・Can be used without grease or lubricating oil. - Helps reduce the weight of robots and mechanical devices. ・It is recommended that the rotation speed used in the atmosphere is 800 RPM or less.

■Chemical resistance

Inert to most drug solutions. (Equivalent to B series when using stainless steel balls)

■Non-magnetic

The inner and outer rings are PEEK, the retainer is PEEK or ETFE, and the balls are a combination of alumina or SUS316/304.

■Insulation

Although it does not conduct electricity, you must be careful about static electricity.

■Clean room use

Grease-free. Since it is lubricant-free, it is ideal for use in clean environments.

■Notes

If dust, wear particles, etc. get inside the bearing, the rotational torque may change.

■ Phenomena that occurs due to loads exceeding the range of operating conditions and high speed rotation.

・Bearing temperature rises due to frictional heat between inner and outer rings and balls ・Due to high loads and high temperatures, PEEK wear debris adheres to the ball surface and raceway grooves. ・Seizing of PEEK wear pieces occurs.
