About This Product

Features of Kyocera double-sided glass specifications

■High reliability

We have achieved a long-life solar panel design that reduces the drop in output due to moisture and can generate a large amount of power over a long period of time. Kyocera's double-sided glass solar panels are covered with glass on both the front and back sides, so there is almost no moisture intrusion. Also, since it uses a highly durable sealant, it also blocks moisture from entering through gaps.

■Strong to crack

We have achieved a long-life solar panel design that reduces cell cracking and output loss caused by panels bending due to snowfall or wind, and can generate a large amount of power over a long period of time.

■Double-sided power generation

Double-sided glass solar panels have glass on the back of the panel and a finger electrode structure on the back of the cells, allowing light reflected from the ground to reach the cells inside the panel. Therefore, the light from the back also contributes to power generation, increasing the amount of power generated.

■Original quality test

Kyocera conducts strict quality control through its own testing, and tests are conducted under conditions even stricter than the international IEC standard.

■Features of Kyocera antifouling notch

Cutouts are made on the long sides of the aluminum frame that makes up the four sides of the solar panel, allowing dust attached to the surface glass to be drained away along with rainwater. The cutout structure is Kyocera's original aluminum frame (patent registered). High antifouling performance leads to reduced power generation, reduced maintenance, and reduced panel failure.

■Features of Kyocera's enhanced salt damage resistance specifications

In salt-damaged areas, salt is blown in from the sea by the wind, so the closer you are from the coast, the greater the amount of blown salt. When airborne salt mixes with rainwater, it becomes similar to seawater, making it easier for electricity to flow, which can lead to various problems in the market. Even if a product is IEC certified, various defects may occur in the market.
