■Summary
The KX printer driver is an original printer driver developed to fully utilize the functions of Kyocera printers and multifunction devices. This printer driver is a single driver that supports several types of PDL (PCL 5e/PCL 5c/PCL XL/KPDL), improves ease of use such as enhanced color adjustment functions, and enhances security functions. This is the latest driver with enhanced settings functions for administrators.
Features
■Improved ease of use
Equipped with a preview function that displays the image that will actually be printed. A new easy settings tab has been added, and most of the basic functions can be set within this tab. You can turn the status monitor ON/OFF from the printer driver. You can print by skipping blank pages in the print data.
■Color adjustment function
Equipped with a simple color adjustment function, you can easily adjust spot colors. Equipped with an edge adjustment function that allows you to easily correct color shifts.
■Security function
The confidential document guard feature prevents documents printed with a guard pattern from being scanned, copied, or faxed without authorization. (Requires security guard option installed) Images can now be used in addition to text as background patterns for security watermarks. We have also added the ability to save PDF files to the PDF print function.
You can specify that the file will always be saved when printing the PDF. Machine configuration information can be obtained using SNMP v3.
■Various management functions
・You can choose how the Easy Settings tab is displayed.
・You can choose whether to use the count information function.
- Color devices can be fixed to black and white mode.
- You can lock the security watermark.
- You can lock the specified print settings so that they cannot be changed.
