In line with new ways of working, we will respond to the various needs of our customers in response to changing times, such as improved ease of use, top-class security, and enhanced wireless LAN functionality for mobile environments. Based on the long-life technology that we have refined over many years, we help improve office efficiency.
■Easier to use with intuitive operation
Adopts a large 10.1 inch panel that is easy to see and use. We are introducing a new user interface that is user-friendly. For example, the operation panel uses fewer colors to improve visibility, and the icons and graphics are simplified to enable intuitive operation.
■Even safer with enhanced security
In addition to Secure Boot, which detects program tampering when the multifunction device starts up, and Run-time integrity check, which detects tampering during operation, a list of programs that are allowed to run is managed in advance to prevent unauthorized programs that are not on the list from running. Supports Allow Listing, which is prohibited. It also supports SIEM, which records security-related events and monitors operations that are suspected of unauthorized access or leakage of confidential information.
Other security enhancements include support for the encrypted communications protocol TLS version 1.3 and a 7-time overwrite function for the HDD. It is also equipped with a 3-step "easy security setting" that allows you to easily change various settings with one click depending on the security level. We also take into account ease of use.
■Smooth mobile connection in various ways
It supports a new wireless LAN that covers the 5GHz frequency band, which allows stable communication without interfering with radio waves emitted by other electrical products. Wi-Fi Direct, which allows simultaneous connections, has also been increased from a maximum of 3 devices to 10 devices. Respond more flexibly to expanding mobile needs.
