About This Product
AVX's electric double layer capacitor (supercapacitor) lineup, consisting of the SCC series, SCM series, and PrizmaCap, has the ability to supply superior pulse power due to its combination of ultra-high capacitance and ultra-low ESR. Supercapacitors can be used alone or in conjunction with primary or secondary batteries to extend backup time, battery life, and provide instantaneous pulsed power when needed.
Supercapacitors, large energy storage devices, meet the needs of hold-up, energy harvesting, pulsed power, and battery replacement/assistance.
