About This Product

Compatible with alcohol testing that will become mandatory from October 2022. Alcohol detector with easy-to-understand measurement results in 3 colors
 
■Features・This is a portable type breathalyzer specified by the National Public Safety Commission that complies with the new revision of the Road Traffic Act from October 2022.
・Measurement results are notified in an easy-to-understand manner with a 3-color display of green, yellow, and red and an alarm sound. The threshold value for each level can be changed in the settings.
・32 measurement data can be saved.
・Equipped with a high-precision MEMS semiconductor gas sensor that enables high-precision measurement.
-Measurement results can be displayed in six different units, including breath alcohol concentration mg/L (Japan) and blood alcohol concentration %BAC.
・U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) certified product.

■About disinfecting the alcohol checkerThe Breathalyzer Association has announced that many false positives have been reported, likely due to alcohol disinfection. An alcohol checker is literally an "equipment that detects alcohol," so the results indicate that it is correctly detecting alcohol.

Due to the nature of the alcohol checker, it may react with alcohol present in the surrounding area, so please avoid cleaning (sterilization) using alcohol disinfectant spray or disinfectant sheets. Please note that hand sanitizer also contains high concentrations of alcohol, so if there is any residual alcohol in the air, alcohol may be detected during the test.

■About cleaning the alcohol checkerWiping with water is the basic method, but disinfectants other than alcohol such as sodium hypochlorite aqueous solution, hypochlorous acid water, surfactants (detergents), and strong alkaline electrolyzed water can also be used.

■Alcohol checker bodyIf you sterilize with alcohol: Allow it to completely evaporate before use to avoid false positives. When disinfecting with sodium hypochlorite: Although the possibility of false positive detection is low, long-term use may cause adverse effects such as deterioration and corrosion.

■MouthpieceAfter disinfecting with a disinfectant or cleaning with a neutral detergent, rinse with water and dry thoroughly before use.
