About This Product

■Autofocus reading from 15cm to up to 16m. Equipped with Bluetooth Class 1, communication distance is 100m. Superior robustness with IP65 and 2m drop resistanceThe 1981i is a highly robust 2D scanner designed with the latest autofocus technology for barcode reading over long distances, such as when working on a forklift.

The aimer, which uses a laser pointer, makes it easy to see the code to be read, and it is possible to read 1D and 2D codes from a distance of up to 16m. It is also possible to read high resolution codes of 0.05mm at short distances (15cm to 30cm). It is also excellent at reading fine barcodes and has excellent versatility that can be used in a wide range of applications.

The body is overmolded with shock-absorbing rubber and has passed a 2m drop test (50 times onto concrete) and 5,000 continuous drops (1m tumble test). In addition, with IP65 compliant dust and splash proof performance and an operating temperature of -20°C to 50°C, it can be used with confidence in any work environment, from cold environments to heavy industry. High-brightness LED verification, loud buzzer, and vibration enable reliable reading confirmation even in noisy environments.

The communication function is equipped with Bluetooth Class1 V2.1 wireless technology, and pairing with a communication base (cradle) is easy, allowing you to move freely and perform reading tasks within an area of ​​100m from the base. The main unit and communication base are covered by a free warranty of 3 years (1 year of battery), so you can use it with confidence for a long time.
