Precision optical components such as spheres, aspherics, free-form surfaces, special lenses, etc. cannot be manufactured to high quality standards and cost-effectively at all manufacturing stages, from pre-polishing to polishing, unless individual processes can be stabilized over the long term. It is not possible to produce highly effective products. In-process feature inspection with Mahr measurement technology can help here. Fizeau interferometer MarOpto FI 1100 Z

■Powerful Fizeau interferometer.

Non-contact measurement of shapes and shaft front surfaces with minimal measurement uncertainty, with outstanding flexibility and versatility The MarOpto FI 1100 Z is a powerful and compact interferometer with a 100 mm aperture that can provide non-contact measurements of planar, spherical and wavefront surfaces. Measurements can be performed by simple fringe detection, IntelliPhase static spatial carrier analysis, or standard phase discs. MarOpto FI 1100 Z provides the flexibility and superior performance that today's industrial applications demand. In addition to inspecting the surface of optical components, it is also possible to measure the radius of curvature and wavefront. Small size makes it easy to integrate into OEM systems. Therefore, accurate measurements can be achieved with an attractive price/performance ratio. Interferometers can be used horizontally and vertically.
