About This Product

■Anti-glare solar panels that reduce reflected light Compared to regular solar panels, Kyocera anti-glare panels reduce reflected light. ■The glass surface of the solar panel is made uneven to scatter light and achieve a high anti-glare effect. Typical solar panels are made of low-reflection glass with an anti-reflection coating called AR (Anti-Reflection) coated on the glass surface, but this alone cannot sufficiently reduce reflected light. Additionally, as the AR coating becomes thinner as it ages, its effectiveness in reducing reflected light decreases year by year. Kyocera provides solar panels that have unevenness on the glass surface to scatter light, which has a high anti-glare effect and is suitable for countering light pollution. ■Situations where reflected light is particularly problematic are shallow incidence angles such as 85°. Typical low-reflection glass for solar panels does not have a sufficient reduction effect when the light is reflected at a shallow angle, as shown by the red arrow in the diagram above. Our anti-glare glass can reduce reflected light by approximately 80% compared to general solar panels (when the incident angle is 85°). ■Glare simulation “SoGlanaⓇ” Kyocera has developed a solar panel glare simulation called ``SoGlana®.'' ■High reliability We have achieved a long-life solar panel design that reduces the drop in output due to moisture and can generate a large amount of power over a long period of time. Kyocera's double-sided glass solar panels are covered with glass on both the front and back sides, so there is almost no moisture intrusion. Also, since it uses a highly durable sealant, it also blocks moisture from entering through gaps. ■Moist heat test output power transition Kyocera's double-sided glass solar panels have less output deterioration due to humidity and heat. ■Long-term reliability design/prediction technology SoRelia® High reliability is achieved through solar panel design using SoRelia®. ■Original quality test Kyocera conducts strict quality control through its own testing, and tests are conducted under conditions even stricter than the international IEC standard. ■Strong to crack We have achieved a long-life solar panel design that reduces cell cracking and output loss caused by panels bending due to snowfall or wind, and can generate a large amount of power over a long period of time. ■Load test Output power change Kyocera's double-sided glass solar panels have less output deterioration due to cell cracking.
