About This Product

By igniting a mixture of methane gas and compressed air, pressure waves are generated to effectively remove deposits and ash inside the boiler. The ``Pressure Wave Soot Blower'' is a compact product that is installed on the outer wall of the boiler. The jet nozzle is installed by inserting it into an additional nozzle installed on an exterior wall or manhole, and a supersonic level pressure wave is emitted from there. This creates minute vibrations on the gas inside the boiler and on the inner walls and piping surfaces, effectively removing deposits on the surface.

■High cleaning effect reduces manual cleaning

Steam-type soot blowers are commonly used. For example, when cleaning superheater tubes with steam, the steam may not reach the back side of the superheater tubes, making it impossible to clean them thoroughly. In addition, in the case of a steam type, the interval between steam injections is long, so the ash that adheres during that time can become stuck. On the other hand, "pressure wave type" soot blowers generate pressure waves by exploding gas. Therefore, the pressure waves reach the back side of the superheater tube, achieving a high cleaning effect. It also has the advantage of being able to emit pressure waves at short intervals, allowing cleaning of ash before it hardens.

■Prevents deterioration of superheater tubes and improves boiler durability

In the case of a steam type, it is unavoidable that the blown steam will damage the superheater tube (drain cut). Therefore, steam cannot be injected too frequently, which results in further ash sticking. On the other hand, in the case of the "pressure wave type", there is no drain cut, so there is no wear and tear on the superheater tubes, which reduces maintenance effort and ultimately extends the life of the superheater tubes.

■Stable power generation possible

With the pressure wave type, there is no variation or loss in steam volume due to steam injection, making it possible to ensure a stable steam supply and power generation.

■Application examples

・Incinerator (general garbage, industrial waste, etc.) ・Biomass boiler ・Coal-fired/heavy oil-fired boiler ・Steelworks/smelters ・Paper mill
