■Blown Ion series surface treatment equipment
Pressurized air is passed through a single electrode and discharged within the processing head. The electrodes energize the electrons and their collisions create positively charged ions in the discharge chamber. Ions are accelerated by air pressure and flow out at high speed from the tip of the head toward the substrate surface.
Again, these ions positively charge the surface of an object through direct contact, increasing its surface energy and making it more receptive to inks and coatings. The blown ion series can treat both conductive and non-conductive systems as an electrical discharge occurs within the treatment head. The narrow treatment focus of this system also makes it ideal for treating grooves and crevices.
