■What is ETP Hydrofix S?

The ETP HYDRO FIX S clamping sleeve is a hydraulic clamping system with excellent vibration isolation.

■Advantages of ETP Hydrofix S

- Tools can be fixed quickly and easily with a single fixing screw (reducing tool exchange time) ・Using a precision hydraulic clamp makes it possible to absorb and reduce vibration, extending tool life and improving machining quality (Improving tool runout accuracy, improving surface roughness during drilling, and reducing vibration) ・Hydraulic clamping enables large diameter and deep hole machining (Improves tool gripping power) ・High runout accuracy within 3μm Product lineup

■Front activation type

The front activation type HYDRO-FIX S is a type that can hydraulically fix the tool as well as the boring bar holder, enabling highly accurate centering. Do not use set screws when fixing to the boring bar holder. In this case, HYDRO-FIX S will be damaged.

■Back activation type

ETP Hydrofix S back activation type The back activation type HYDRO-FIX S only fixes the tool hydraulically. When fixing the tool to the equipment side, after adjusting the amount of tool protrusion, etc., fix it with set screws as usual.
