About This Product

■What is Swiss-type automatic lathe screw whirling tool?

Whirling processing is a method that can efficiently process long screws, high lead screws, worm gears, etc. using an automatic lathe. A special disc with many inserts is attached to a special holder whose angle can be adjusted. Machining is performed by rotating the workpiece and ring in the same direction, with the disk eccentric to the workpiece. This method is often used for bone screw machining of titanium and stainless steel because it is less likely to produce burrs and can efficiently process workpieces that require large amounts of cutting.
