About This Product

GS8000 is an underground probe capable of real-time mapping. By viewing the data displayed in real time on map data, you can know the location and depth of underground pipes and cavities on the spot. Because of the step frequency output, shallow and deep depths can be measured simultaneously in one measurement.

■Real-time mapping

GS8000 displays exploration results on map data in real time. The red areas are where there are buried objects, and the blue areas are where there is nothing buried. You can change the displayed depth by moving the seek bar up and down. We use GNSS to obtain location information, but by using a separate RTK service, we can achieve accuracy of less than 2 cm on the map.

■AR display on the spot

There are two scan modes: Free Pass, where you walk freely, and Area Scan, where you walk along a predetermined route in a grid pattern. Among these, area scan allows you to display scan results on the spot in AR. By displaying the results immediately on-site, it becomes much easier to explain to related parties, allowing construction to proceed smoothly.

■Step frequency

Because it is necessary to search at shallow depths with a high frequency and at deep depths with a low frequency, conventionally, when performing underground buried object exploration in both areas, it was necessary to replace the antenna and measure the same location twice. Since the GS8000 outputs a step frequency of 40MHz to 3,440MHz, it is possible to conduct surveys at different depths with high precision in one measurement.

■Perfect convenience

The controller uses an iPad pro, and even if it becomes damaged, it can be restored by simply installing the free app on a new iPad. Data can be shared with another iPad or PC, so exploration results can be checked immediately at the office.
