About This Product

■Summary

Conventionally, the resistance of VCT circuits was measured by inserting a 4-pole test plug into the switchboard and using a tester, but as the number of points to be measured increases, the time and effort involved in measuring becomes extremely large. There was a problem with the possibility of work errors such as connection errors and transcription errors. To address this issue, this measuring instrument has automated this work. This makes it possible to significantly reduce work time and prevents work errors. This product was developed through research commissioned by Tohoku Electric Power Co., Ishinomaki Electric Power Center in 2019. Features

■Automatic measurement

Once you first connect the wires to the DUT, you can automatically measure all combinations of VCT resistance measurements with the touch of a button. In addition to reducing work time, this can be expected to prevent work errors.

■Display all measurement results

All measurement combinations can be displayed on one screen, allowing you to quickly see the results at a glance.

■Supports high reactance load

High reactance loads that are difficult to measure with digital testers can also be automatically measured. If you are not comfortable with automatic measurement, you can also measure manually.

■Easy to work with

It has a trunk shape that allows you to carry it as is without the need for a case. Additionally, since it runs on batteries, there is no need to connect to an AC power source, making it easy to move from one measurement location to another.

■Cable that can be installed quickly

The included cable has a Y-shaped crimp terminal attached to it so that it can be quickly connected to or disconnected from the 4-pole test plug inserted into the switchboard. In addition, the cable is attached directly to the main unit and can be stored in the main unit, saving you the trouble of installing it.

■Data storage function

All measurement data can be printed immediately using the built-in printer, which prevents errors in recording measurement values. It also has a recording function to a USB memory, which eliminates the need to manually input measured values ​​into a computer and prevents input errors.

■Touch panel operation and display

All operations are performed using the touch panel on the display, making operations intuitive and easy to understand.

■External resistance meter connection

Commercially available resistance meters and testers can be connected to this measuring device. In this case, the measuring device functions as a switching device.
