About This Product

Alginic acid, extracted from the sticky components of seaweed such as kelp, has the property of solidifying (gelling) in the presence of calcium. Utilizing this property, it is also known as a material for making "artificial salmon roe" for children's science experiments. Capsules made from alginic acid are harmless to living organisms and biodegradable in the environment, so they can be used for a variety of purposes. This device was manufactured using Kaihatsu Giken's water treatment technology. We manufacture this product by incorporating our know-how in nozzle technology, control systems, and conveyance technology for semi-automatic and automatic filling machines. It is easy to use and allows for highly efficient production. ■Appearance Kaihatsu Giken's high-speed alginate capsule manufacturing machine CG-2 has the ability to rapidly manufacture alginate capsules with diameters from less than 1 mm to approximately 20 mm in one machine. The equipment is equipped with two capsule forming tanks, and the capsule manufacturing nozzle moves left and right to produce capsules. Continuous production can be continued by having workers collect capsules from the forming tank at regular intervals.
