About This Product

The popular LTP series medium-sized nozzle lifting liquid filling machine has been optimized for BIB use, and is a high cost-effective filling line that semi-automates filling, capping, sealing, and lot printing. Highly efficient shipping of 100 to 120 containers/hour is possible with 10LBIB, and approximately 100 containers/hour with 20LBIB.

When considering a filling work plan, the first thing that can be expected to improve efficiency is to improve the filling step. As a first step, introducing a filling machine will reduce the number of workers and time required, dramatically improving product shipping pace and costs. However, when filling containers called Back-in-Boxes (BIBs), when the number of shipments exceeds 100 per day, the next hurdle awaits. This involves making the outer box of the BIB container (box making) and sealing the box. A BIB container is a widely used container that consists of a cardboard box with a soft plastic inner bag filled with a solution (as shown in the photo below, it is placed on top of a filling machine). It is extremely inefficient to make the cardboard boxes and seal them manually. This problem was solved by a device called a box-sealing machine, but the design was insufficient in consideration of interoperability with the filling machine and work efficiency. Additionally, automatic box making machines and automatic box sealing machines usually cost around 3 million to 4 million yen, so if you only ship a few hundred boxes a day, it is difficult to afford them. However, semi-automatic box-sealing machines can be purchased for well under 1 million yen, so if you use them wisely, you can expect high efficiency. Therefore, Kaihatsu Giken has developed a filling machine LTPB that is optimized for semi-automatic filling lines for BIB. We then developed the LTPB-SP semi-automatic filling line, which connects this LTPB filling machine with an optimized semi-automatic box-forming and sealing machine, printing machine, and roller conveyor. By optimizing the physical layout of each piece of equipment, optimizing the time allocation for each work step, and improving the control program, we can produce 100 to 120 containers by filling 10 kg of 10 LBIB containers, tightening the lid, sealing, and batch production. A working speed of /hour was achieved (speeds vary depending on equipment installation and solution properties). The filling machine is equipped with an air blow gun (with water filter and dust filter) for inflating the inner bag, and a simple capper (electric torque driver) for tightening the lid.

4-belt type made by Naigai (Everroll) (ideal type for BIB containers)

Inkjet type
Can print dates, numbers, serial numbers, various characters including kanji, 2D barcodes, etc.
It is attached to the box sealing machine.
The printing surface is on the right or left side of the container in the direction of travel.
