■What is a remote ID receiver?

・"Remote ID receiver" is a tool to visualize the remote ID of the drone. You can receive and visualize the remote IDs of not only your own drones but also those flying nearby. According to aviation law, the remote ID signal sent from a remote ID device is defined as "Bluetooth 5.x Bluetooth LE Long Range" in the case of Bluetooth®. However, most smartphones, including iPhones, cannot receive Bluetooth LE Long Range. In other words, you cannot use your smartphone to check whether the remote ID is being transmitted correctly or the remote ID information being transmitted. The remote ID receiver receives the Bluetooth LE Long Range remote ID and relays it in a way that can be received by a smartphone, so the smartphone can receive the remote ID signal and check ID information and location information.

■Features

This device allows remote ID information transmitted via Bluetooth® 5.0 Long Range to be received on a smartphone in conjunction with a dedicated app (BvRID). (This product cannot receive remote ID information sent by Wi-Fi Neighbor Aware Networking or Wi-Fi Beacon.)

■Standard certification
