■Product overview
This is a combo module equipped with SEMTECH's RF chip "SX1272" and Nordic Semiconductor's Bluetooth®︎LE SoC chip "nRF52832".
■Features
This stack is scheduled to be provided as a LoRaWAN library, and will enable those who have previously developed using Bluetooth®︎LE to use their know-how to create LoRaWAN devices. Furthermore, the device class is the first in Japan to support Class A and Class C.
The biggest feature of this module is that it can use 920MHz band LoRaWAN and 2.4GHz band Bluetooth®︎LE concurrently, making communication with apps via smartphones and PCs, firmware updates via OTA, etc. possible. .
・Japan Radio Law certified combo module equipped with nRF52832-QFAA (manufactured by Nordic) and SX1272IMLTRT (manufactured by Semtech)
・As a Bluetooth®︎LE module/LoRa module, it is certified by Japan Radio Law and Bluetooth SIG, so it can be used immediately.
・Reduced design burden as connection to LoRaWAN™ has been confirmed (LoRa Alliance certified)
・920MHz band LoRaWAN™ and 2.4GHz band Bluetooth®︎LE can be used concurrently
- Communication with apps via smartphones and PCs, and firmware updates via OTA (On The Air) are possible.
