About This Product

EFR is an insulating material that overcomes the disadvantages of conventional Styrofoam, such as being easily flammable and soft. E=Expanded Poly-Styrene (ESP) F=Fire R=Resistance (bead method polystyrene/phenol fire-resistant coating foam)

■Not easily flammable

It does not easily burn or lose its shape even when exposed to flame. Moreover, it is a flame-retardant material that does not emit toxic gases. The critical oxygen concentration is approximately twice that of Styrofoam.

■Highly effective against termites without using chemicals

The beads are coated with boric acid to keep termites away. There is no harmful effect on the human body. Bead-method polystyrene foam has excellent features such as insulation performance that resists aging, durability, impact resistance, and water resistance. However, the drawback is that it is vulnerable to fire when used alone. From the viewpoint of moisture permeability, products No. 3 and No. 4 are usually used in wet external insulation methods.
