■Vast capture area

PrimeX 120 and PrimeX 120W cameras are capable of capturing the farthest markers of all OptiTrack cameras. The increased precision and range allows you to build a large-scale motion capture studio.

■PrimeX = High precision

In-house developed low distortion lens and 10-bit grayscale depth reduce quantization noise and improve accuracy. The result is extremely clear and beautiful images, better center of gravity accuracy, and better three-dimensional accuracy. Image quality is more important than resolution, and it affects accuracy.

■Wide-angle lens: PrimeX120W

PrimeX 120 comes standard with 24mm 51° x 39°, but PrimeX 120W is also available with an 18mm 65° x 51° wide-angle lens. The 18mm lens is custom designed with a unique ultra-low distortion "Fast glass" lens. Treated with a broadband anti-reflection coating, it significantly increases light transmission to the imager, resulting in higher capacity and more accurate 3D data.

■Both passive and active markers can be captured

Tracking can be achieved with a position error of less than +/- 0.10 mm and a rotation error of less than 0.1 degree. Users can use a combination of active and passive markers to get better results depending on the scene.

■Prime series can be mixed.

Prime and PrimeX series cameras can be used together to create the optimal configuration depending on the installation environment and usage. Build a system that achieves the highest 3D accuracy in an environment that suits your application from 11 types of cameras.

■Powerful in-camera image processing

All OptiTrack cameras have integrated image processing capabilities. The algorithm that recognizes markers and calculates their center of gravity, as well as the series of steps leading up to data distribution, are critical to achieving both world-class accuracy and low latency.
