About This Product

We are developing and introducing robot systems equipped with the visual-tactile sensor FingerVision in response to industry issues.

■Food processing industry
・Industry issues
They are suffering from a chronic labor shortage and many high-load jobs (repetitive work, handling hot ingredients, etc.).

At processing sites for bento boxes, prepared foods, etc., there are many different types of foods, as well as variations in shape and weight, making it difficult to handle them with robots and machines. (Especially grabbing, serving, etc.)

Utilizing a robot arm equipped with an inexpensive tactile sensor to reduce the load on the production line.

■ Robot system for plating various types of flexible items
A general-purpose robot system that utilizes tactile sensors automates the ``plating'' of products such as bento boxes and side dishes that change daily or are frequently renewed.

Introduction example
■Pick and place rice balls
You can arrange the rice balls that are stacked randomly on the desk. Here, we use feedback from FingerVision when "grabbing". Furthermore, it is also possible to read the label information with FingerVision, automatically determine whether it is "salmon" or "tuna," and sort it by type.

■Visual-tactile sensor
We also sell individual robot hands and sensors that incorporate the visual-tactile sensor FingerVision.
