About This Product

Reduces maintenance costs for condensers, waterways, etc., detects equipment problems early, and prevents and monitors seawater pollution. Seawater is used for cooling at nuclear power plants and thermal power plants, but after cooling, the high temperature of the seawater causes large amounts of shellfish to grow in piping, causing trouble and increased maintenance costs. Therefore, in order to suppress the adhesion and growth of shellfish, etc., it is effective to inject chlorine into the cooling seawater using an electrolytic device. However, if chlorinated cooling water is returned to the sea, it may affect the ecosystem depending on the concentration, so continuous monitoring of residual chlorine concentration is required. The ability to measure extremely low concentration areas enables highly accurate chlorine injection and early detection of equipment problems, which is also useful for preventing and monitoring seawater pollution.
