About This Product

Metalloid is a plating primer that deposits electroless plating on various substrates. If it is applied to resin or ceramics, dried, and immersed in an electroless plating solution, electroless plating will be deposited on the metalloid film. High adhesion plating is possible even on low dielectric materials, which is difficult to do with conventional resin plating, and anti-reflection layers can be realized without the need for special layers. Because it adheres closely to the base material without any roughening, it achieves an excellent skin effect. This is the only material that can achieve the low transmission loss required for beyond 5G to 6G high frequency communications.

■Adhesion

Metalloid plating has a three-layer structure: the base material, the metalloid layer, and the plating layer. The adhesion between the base material and the metalloid layer is due to chemical bonds, and the adhesion between the metalloid layer and the plating layer is due to a physical anchor effect.

■Optical properties

Transmittance and haze values ​​are required for materials incorporated into displays and invisible applications. Metalloid achieves high optical properties while maintaining the transparency of the base material.
