About This Product

The BVC2951U is an ultra-high sensitivity camera that is useful for ESD (electrostatic discharge) monitoring at production sites. The BVC2951U ESD visualization camera, which uses prism spectroscopic imaging technology, is ideal for monitoring electrostatic discharge damage occurrences on the manufacturing floor. The BVC2951U uses an ultra-high-sensitivity camera to image the near-ultraviolet light (200nm to 400nm) generated during ESD discharge, and can monitor when and where low-voltage discharge phenomena from around 200 volts occur. ■Product features

The BVC2951U is equipped with two types of sensors, one that captures visible light images and the other that captures images of discharge phenomena. Therefore, we use spectroscopic imaging technology that employs mirrors to separate visible light from 400nm to 700nm and near-ultraviolet light from 200nm to 400nm. The sensor uses a 640x480 pixel sensor for visible light and an ultra-high sensitivity UV sensor for ultraviolet light. Since two images are captured with the same field of view through the same lens, it is possible to accurately determine the point where electrostatic damage occurs. ESD refers to the discharge of static electricity, which generates near-ultraviolet light in the range of 200nm to 400nm (UV-B). The energy of the light generated at this time is extremely small, and an ultra-high sensitivity UV sensor is used to detect this.
