About This Product

■CREINS

When you put Clearance in a bathtub, chlorine dioxide is instantly generated and becomes a solution, allowing you to easily obtain chlorine dioxide water with a sterilizing concentration. At that time, there is no need to add any other acidic agents.

■Mechanism of Legionella proliferation in bathtubs

In circulating bath water, the presence of water and dirt at the same time causes biofilms to form inside the pipes and filters. Bacteria proliferate inside it, and then amoeba (such as Hartmanella naegleria) that feed on bacteria proliferate, and Legionella bacteria that parasitize within the amoeba also proliferate. In this way, Legionella bacteria is parasitic within the amoeba, so it cannot be easily eradicated. Normally, bacteria in water can be sterilized with chlorine-based disinfectants, but Legionella bacteria in biofilms are said to be difficult to treat even with high-concentration chlorine treatment. It has also been confirmed that amoeba is resistant to chlorine-based disinfectants, and in this case, even high-concentration treatments such as super chlorination cannot sterilize the bacteria. In order to get rid of Legionella bacteria, it is necessary to remove stubborn amoeba.

■Difference between chlorine and chlorine dioxide

Both chlorine and chlorine dioxide have the same sterilization principle in that they damage the life-giving cells of microorganisms through oxidation. However, while the primary point of action of chlorine is on plasma proteins, chlorine dioxide is said to mainly act on cell membranes. Because cell membranes are exposed to drugs faster than plasma, chlorine dioxide, which destroys biofilms, is more reliable in eliminating Legionella bacteria. Clearance How to use
