■RO (reverse osmosis membrane) water purification is a water purification method that is applied in various fields.

Reverse osmosis membranes apply the principle of osmotic pressure. It was originally developed in the 1950s as a new method for desalination of drinking water. Nowadays, it has a wide range of uses, including in the medical field of pharmaceuticals and artificial dialysis, industrial use in semiconductor cleaning and equipment cooling, food use in the purification of mineral water and deep ocean water, and beauty use in lotions. It's crossing. The "semi-permeable membrane" that causes this osmotic pressure phenomenon allows only the water molecule level to pass through ultra-fine pores of 0.1 nanometers, making it an overwhelmingly superior material for use as a water purifier filter. .

■Reverse osmosis membrane

The pores of an RO (reverse osmosis) membrane are only 0.1 nm (0.0001 μm), so large substances such as organic substances and chemicals cannot pass through the RO membrane. Among ionic minerals, only 2 to 5% of the amount of water molecules can pass through the RO membrane with small simple minerals. At worst, the type and amount are inconceivable for the human body. When looking at water molecules, large clusters (aggregates formed when water molecules are linked by hydrogen bonds) are once cut off by the pores of the RO membrane, and when they recombine, gas (air) is sandwiched between them. Masu. As a result, it is soft water (pure water) that is less of a burden on the human body, and is also extremely easy to drink. In this respect, RO water can be considered air water.
