This series uses a pusher-type single-shaft system, which can be said to be the mainstream of current crushers, and can crush a wide range of objects, meeting a wide range of needs in both the manufacturing and recycling industries. The pusher-type single-shaft shredder Dragon Shred DS40 series is a high-cost performance shredder that combines high shredding capacity, low price, and good design.
Product strengths
■Many achievements in intermediate processing of less than 5 tons
The DS40 series is of a size that can be loaded into heavy machinery, and the main unit and consumables are both inexpensive, so it has been used in many intermediate crushing applications. We have a lineup of three models, including a 37kW model that does not require a cubicle.
■Low height and wide hopper design for easy loading
The loading height is approximately 2.1m, which is lower than comparable crushers made by other companies, and the hopper width is wide, making it easy to load.
■Pusher control that enables crushing of difficult-to-process materials
The DS40 series hydraulic pusher uses sequence control to control the movement of the pusher in conjunction with the current load applied to the crushing rotor, making it possible to efficiently crush even difficult-to-process materials.
■Screen can be replaced to suit your needs
Screens can be easily replaced depending on the material to be processed. General round hole screens can be ordered in 1mm increments starting from a minimum diameter of 15mm. We have slit screens suitable for soft plastics, square screens, etc.
■Specially designed hydraulic unit achieves optimal crushing
A hydraulic unit with extra power is used to handle crushing in harsh environments. Stable crushing is achieved by operating at 70% or less of maximum capacity.
■Rotating blades are also economical
Adopts a φ40mm special steel bit-type rotary blade. If the tip becomes worn, it can be used up to 4 times by rotating it in 90° increments. It is attached with one bolt and can be replaced by the customer.
■Efficient work with dedicated L-shaped discharge conveyor
By combining it with a dedicated L-shaped discharge conveyor, you can work efficiently while saving space and maintaining the same loading height.
■Wear-resistant rotor hardening (optional)
By hardening the crushing rotor surface with tungsten welding material, it is possible to reduce rotor wear caused by dirt adhering to the processed material and improve running costs.
