■You can tell the ground connection by the light on the plug.
This cord reel uses an "earth check poking plug" that allows you to check the ground wire connection with a built-in lamp. Just by inserting the plug into an outlet, you can check that the outlet is grounded. If the plug lights up, the ground is connected. (If it does not light up, there may be a disconnection or a disconnection.) Even if the ground is not connected (the plug does not light up), the power will still be energized.
