About This Product

This is a millimeter wave radar module that operates normally even in harsh outdoor environments. Objects can be detected even in adverse environments such as rain, snow, and fog that cannot be detected by laser methods. It is a sensor that can be incorporated into various products such as robots, AGVs, drones, and heavy construction equipment.

■Features

・Uses millimeter wave SOC (IWR6843AOP) with built-in antenna and built-in CPU ・Supports multiple transmitting and receiving antennas (MIMO), so it is possible to obtain not only object distance and speed but also angle information. ・Signal processing of reflected waves from objects within a maximum 120deg range (azimuth and elevation direction) and detection as a point group. You can then group them on the application side and track distance and speed. ・Works normally even in harsh outdoor environments (rain, fog, smoke, dust, sunstrike) - Can be placed inside an enclosure as it can measure through walls ・Graphically display millimeter wave radar information using TI's free software - Millimeter wave radar parameters can be changed and customized (sensitivity, detection speed, detection distance, detection distance resolution, etc.) ・Data output from the millimeter wave module is not only serial (Uart 115200bps), but can also be customized according to the application.
