The small carburizing furnace SAD type uses a heat-resistant steel muffle, so it is highly airtight and is an automatic furnace suitable for repeated intermittent operation. It is an energy-saving, compact type that is ideal for small-scale production because of its stable atmosphere and quick start-up.

■Stability of atmosphere
The heating chamber uses a metal muffle, and the atmosphere gas does not come into direct contact with the bricks or fibers, so the atmosphere can be stabilized extremely quickly and reliably. In addition, the amount of seasoning gas is extremely small, the running gas is small, and the temperature rises and falls quickly, resulting in significant cost reductions.
■For small quantity production
It does not require a conversion path and is easy to start and stop, making it ideal for high-mix, low-volume production.
■SAD type carburizing and quenching furnace
The SAD type uses methanol (CH3OH) as a dripping liquid, and performs carburizing and quenching by feeding N2 and C3H8. Additionally, NH3 gas is added to the carbonitriding process.
■Heat-resistant stirring fan
A heat-resistant stirring fan is rotated to ensure uniform temperature distribution accuracy and uniform diffusion of the dripping liquid and carburizing gas. The rotation speed can be adjusted using an inverter.
■Automatic/Compact
The heating chamber, cooling chamber, and oil tank are integrated, and the entire process from carburizing to diffusion to soaking to quenching can be performed automatically. The equipment layout, which includes a furnace front stand, cleaning machine, and flowing air tempering furnace, can be made compact and inexpensive.
■O2 sensor
An electromotive force is generated according to the difference in oxygen concentration inside and outside the zirconia solid electrolyte, and the carbon concentration in the reactor air is calculated from this electromotive force. By installing an O2 sensor and a CP (carbon potential) calculator, atmospheric gas can be measured and automatically controlled.
■Carbon potential (CP) calculator
