A dual-purpose heat treatment device equipped with two cooling functions: oil cooling and gas cooling. The concept of low cost, space saving, and labor saving is thoroughly incorporated in response to high-mix, low-volume production, such as ensuring constant quality and safety through fully automatic control, and reducing maintenance costs with a muffle-less system. The heating chamber, gas cooling chamber, and oil tank are integrated in a completely sealed structure, allowing non-oxidation quenching in an atmosphere. ■Oil cooling Equipped with a heater, cooling pipe, and stirring mechanism to control oil temperature. You can easily control the temperature of the quenching oil and set the immersion time. ■Gas cooling Equipped with a forced atmosphere circulation mechanism, the atmosphere cooled by a heat exchanger is sprayed evenly from the left and right walls to rapidly cool the workpiece. ■Heating chamber with muffleless structure Eliminates muffles, which are expensive consumables, and reduces maintenance costs. Good temperature distribution is obtained with the 6-sided panel heater, and the high-temperature specification allows for atmospheric treatment of high-speed steel. ■Fully automatic operation (SAM 50,60) Just set the workpiece and press the button. All processing is done automatically until the end of quenching, so it is safe and there is no risk of the worker coming into contact with heat. In addition, the necessary conditions for each target product (workpiece) can be programmed in advance, so it is possible to suppress variations in quality and achieve a uniform hardening process. ■Compact design Thermal's original transfer unit is used to move the workpiece back and forth. There is no extra protrusion to the rear, giving it a clean and compact appearance. ■What is oxidation/decarburization? Oxidation is the phenomenon in which metals combine with oxygen to form oxides. Also, when steel is heated, the carbon in the surface layer of the steel combines with oxygen in the air and the carbon content decreases, which is called decarburization. The decarburized surface will not be quenched and may cause cracking. Thermal heat treatment equipment, including the SAM type, is equipped with a function to suppress oxidation and decarburization.
