■Product overviewThe digital cam with LCD panel "PS-711" is a device that compares the signal from the rotary encoder attached to the rotating shaft of the press machine with the set value and outputs a control signal equivalent to that of a rotary cam. Similar to our product "PS-701", it is equipped with [Advance angle function] that compensates for device operation delays, [Timer function] that controls the on time, [Motion detector function] that monitors the rotation signal of the rotary encoder, etc. It has been. In addition, the LCD panel improves operability and visibility, and all 6 channels have AC/DC dual-purpose output, achieving excellent cost performance.

■Features・Cam output equivalent to conventional mechanical rotary cams can be obtained.
- All CH cam outputs are AC/DC dual-use SSR and open collector.
-You can check the settings of all CHs on one screen.
・The press device can be stopped using the motion detector function.
・Using MD input, you can know the start time, rotation speed, stop time, and stop angle of the press equipment.
-Hysteresis function suppresses output fluctuations.
・Advance angle function and timer function can be used.

Functional explanation
■Advance angle functionThe advance angle function is a function that compensates for the operating time of devices controlled by cam output and keeps the operating angle constant. A control device such as a cylinder has a certain operating time until the piston (rod) reaches the end of its stroke. These control devices operate with a delay from the set angle of the cam output, depending on the rotation speed and operating time of the press device.

■Motion detector functionThe motion detector function monitors the rotary encoder signal and performs [encoder start detection] and [encoder rotation drop detection] when there is an MD input (press operation signal). Detected items include breaks in the encoder relay cable, abnormal conditions in the timing belt, pulleys, etc.
*When using the motion detector function, the operating signal of the press device must be connected to the MD input of PS-711.

■Time measurement functionMeasure start delay time START (ms), rotation speed SPM, stop delay time STOP (ms) and angle DEG from MD input and rotary encoder signal. Up to four pieces of data will be saved and the oldest one will be deleted.
