About This Product

■Product overviewThe PS-781 digital cam is a device that compares the signal from the incremental rotary encoder attached to the rotating shaft of the press machine with a set value and outputs a control signal equivalent to a rotary cam. Since it has a built-in AC/DC dual-use SSR output, it can be connected to either AC or DC power source. With Ethernet support, it can be connected to a PC or PLC.

■Output function- Built-in 8 channels of AC/DC dual-use SSR output and 4 channels of open collector output.
- By adding an operation control method, a signal output equivalent to a clutch signal can be used.
- You can prohibit the output of unused channels.
- 24 channel open collector expansion function can be added. (optional)
・Partially compatible with pendulum motion.

■Improved operability with LCD panel display- You can register and display a name for each channel.
- You can test the operation of SSR output, open collector output, and MD output.
- Counts the number of SSR output ON times up to a maximum of 99,999,999.
- You can count the number of strokes and calculate the operating time.

■Equipped with functions useful for production management・99 patterns can be registered.
- Up to 500 error histories can be saved.
- Patterns can be recalled using ID tags. (optional)

■Ethernet compatible-You can check the settings etc. in HTML format.
-You can download history contents in CSV format.
-Various settings and operations are possible using UDP and Telnet protocols.

■Function explanationThis device calculates the angle using the A/B phase input from the encoder, and sets the rotation angle to 0° using the Z phase input, which is a signal representing 0°. Cam output control for each channel is performed using the calculated angle, control method, and output control value for each channel. Cam output control methods include angle control, time control, and operation control.

■Angle controlThe output control values ​​for angle control are [ON angle] and [OFF angle]. When the device angle and [ON angle] match, the cam output turns ON, and when the device angle and [OFF angle] match, the cam output turns OFF.
