About This Product

A tape former is an auxiliary tool for vertically attaching cable tape to the outside of the cable. In addition to a simple round shape, we can also make custom-made products that match the type of tape and shape of the cable, such as the ability to fold back the tape to prevent it from unraveling. There are various types available, ranging from those for thin wires to power cables with 400mm wide tape attached vertically, and we can also provide custom-made products. If the length of the tape is not long enough to change it from a flat state to a curled shape when folding the tape, or if you want to fold the tape into a curved shape at the entrance of the tape former, the entrance of the tape former should be curved. I have a tape former. Using a tape former with a curved entrance means that the initial formation of the tape must occur in the hollow space between the tape delivery and the entrance of the tape former. This initial shaping may require a preformer if necessary. Forcing the tape to form over short distances can cause problems, so it is important that there is sufficient distance between the tape delivery and the tape former entrance so that the tape forms at its natural length.
