About This Product
Currently, it is said that 95% of the dropping work performed by researchers using pipettes is done manually. Not only does the manual dripping process result in variations in accuracy and reproducibility depending on the person, but many researchers also suffer from tendonitis due to the repeated use of surprisingly heavy pipettes.
The pen-shaped electric pipette "pipetty" has a compact design and reduced number of parts by incorporating our company's core technology, a microactuator, in the drive unit. Although it is the world's smallest and lightest product, it is equipped with a continuous dispensing function and improves accuracy caused by hand warming, supporting highly accurate dispensing work.

Many people may have the impression that electric pipettes are heavy and large. "pipetti" is made smaller and lighter by incorporating our company's core technology, the micro-actuator. In addition to the normal "plunger type" push operation, writing-style "pen type" push operation is also possible. By holding it like a pen, you can easily dispense into small wells and tubes.

When comparing electric and manual pipettes, one of the major differences is the "continuous dispensing" function. The inhaled amount can be expelled in fixed amounts a set number of times, improving work efficiency. In particular, "pipetti" guarantees continuous dispensing accuracy, and is also characterized by less variation in test results compared to other companies' pipettes. Therefore, this pipette is ideal for PCR tests, where the pipette's dispensing accuracy has a large effect on test results.

Conventional pipettes have the problem of ``hand warming,'' where the heat from your hands is transferred to the inside of the pipette, worsening dispensing accuracy. As a result of measuring how much the heat of the hands affected the pipette, the temperature on the outside of the pipette body increased by 5.8°C after about 20 minutes from the start, and the dispensing accuracy changed by 1.8%. "pipetti" is a product with the world's only patented function that is equipped with a temperature sensor and automatically corrects the dispensed amount depending on the temperature.
